I began my career in the car industry in 2010 in Ottawa, Ontario. After learning the ropes and settling into a groove I became a sales manager tasked with helping close deals, training staff and making sure customer expectations were met.
Early on in my career some great advice was passed on to me and has stuck ever since. "You have 2 ears and one mouth and they should be used accordingly." After 10 years working in a dealership I moved into the private sale world. Traveling to different dealerships every week, setting up events, qualifying customers and training staff. I was able to learn a lot more about the car industry by seeing how things were done around the country. I noticed a shift in the business and the way things are done. Covid taught customers that they can buy a car from their own living room if the dealer was willing to accommodate. I started trying to come up with ways dealers can separate themselves from their competition and help customers that don't like being in the dealer environment, and that's how Carview360 was born.
